Calling all 2000s revivalists. Your time has come. So Fetch, Washington DC’s Supreme 2000’s Tribute Band, has arrived. Remember your on-the-go playlist on your 1st generation iPod?

The number one spot on TRL back when Carson was dating Tara Reid? We’ve got them covered and more. From Avril to Outkast, Blink to Beyonce, Kanye to Ke$ha, to that song you liked from the OC. Break out your low rise jeans. Pause High School Musical. Take a break from Guitar Hero. Edward, Jacob, Paris, & Nicole are all coming. Your uggs, popped collars, and trucker hats are welcome here. So Fetch is happening!

The So Fetch Live Experience:

The band takes it to the next level, playing a wide variety of genre’s, that most concert goer’s will like. With a 5 piece band that some members change outfits, delivering a stage show that keeps the party going like there is No Tomorrow. With a great light show and stage lights to boot. So Fetch played for 35 songs with a short intermission. The crowd was eager to be a part of the show and enjoyed every minute of it. At the end of the show, they took the time to talk and take selfies with everyone that wanted to.

About Tally Ho Theater:

Tally Ho Theater is in Leesburg Virginia. Located around 30 miles west of Washington DC. Leesburg, features plenty of shopping and restaurants. The Tally Ho Theater is a old movie theater, converted to a concert venue. The stage is around 30 by 40 ft, and appears to work for most all bands and shows. In my opinion the Tally Ho Theater is a great venue to see your favorite band.

With a capacity around 750 standing, 350 for a sitting show. Some bar stool seating, with high top tables on the floor for certain shows. There are also a few small tables near the bars, all seats fill up quickly. The balcony above the main floor that has tables and a separate bar as VIP Seating. Tally Ho Theater features 4 full service bars, serving beer, wine and mixed drinks. The food menu includes burgers, sandwiches, salads, fries and beverages. A municipal parking garage located next door, that is free any time after 7 pm and weekends.

Photography Equipment Used:

I had the chance to photograph and video songs in it’s entirety from the front of the stage, in the crowd and the upstairs balcony area. For the photos we used Nikon D850 Body, with a Tamron 28-75 F2.8, Tamron 18-400 F3.5-6.3, Tamron 70-200 F2.8 and Nikon 200-400 F4.

Video and Audio Equipment Used:

For video’s, we used the Sony HDR TD10, which is a 3d 1080p camcorder, shows are recorder on 2d, utilizing a Zoom H6 Pro Audio Recorder / Microphone. We utilize the Zoom H6 audio recorder to record the audio from the entire show.

Mundy, A New Wave Soul Band

The Beginning of Mundy:

Mundy is an new wave soul band from Washington DC. While working in the field of theater, during the beginning of 2014. She decided to switch to the field of music. Exploring different multi faceted medium’s of self expression, visual and performing arts. Moving to beats, soaring vocals, upbeat and engaging. Music has always been at the core objective that feeds my inner soul. Creating music that is unlike anything out, with inspirations by many types of music, creating something new.

Mundy Progression:

Taking people thru a wild musical journey, with music and philosophy of life are about inclusivity, which includes art forms and all people. Viewing what I am doing as performance art, wanting the experience we are providing to engage all of the senses. Important to me, challenging hetero normative gender roles with my style and words, promoting sexually empowerment, for everyone.

The Mundy Live Experience:

With me not knowing anything about the band to start with. I was wondering how the show was going to go. I was pleasantly surprised with the show, dark and edgy, with a punky rock feel, with a little bit of soul instilled. Mundy and crew played for around 45 minutes, playing 7 songs, which are originals. The band members look very laid back, but that changed, once the show started. They took command of the stage, enticing the crowd the whole time.

Black Cat Amenities:

When you enter Black Cat, go upstairs, there is a bar room just to the left, with a small but fully stocked bar with, assortment of craft-brews, imports, and a nice selection of bourbon and scotch. Challenge your friends to a game of darts, play pinball, or select some tunes on our astonishingly good jukebox in a laid-back, informal atmosphere.

Black Cat, the main stage floor consists of a 7000 square-foot room, with a large bar, high-quality, professional sound, some seating, great sight lines, and a rock club atmosphere unparalleled in DC. Having featured national acts, local bands, monthly DJ dance events. Hosting some of the best underground/alternative acts that DC has to offer.

Fellowcraft, The Awesome Indie-Blues Rock Band

The Beginning of Fellowcraft:

Fellowcraft is an Indie-Blues Rock band from Washington DC. It’s a growing process, and the more we play, the better we get at it. As far as what we sound like, well… We’re in a complicated relationship with our sound, because we don’t want to be boxed in to any one type of music or genre to the detriment of the song. That said, we tend to fall back on indie, blues, and grunge rock genres in the majority of our songs.

Jon Ryan think the only thing that drives us in the music scene is passion, our love for performing, and songwriting. The Fellow Craft, being a speculative term for a Stonemason learning their craft, kind of plays into that, I think. We enjoy what we do, and we enjoy doing it with the rest of the scene.

Fellowcraft Progression:

We do our best to stay progressive and relevant by touching on subjects that are personal to us. At any given Fellowcraft show you’re going to hear songs that we hope will lift our community up, encourage personal well being, and inspire our friends and coworkers.

We take a lot of care and pride in crafting the message of each song, so we hope people take something away from the lyrics as well as enjoying the music. That’s why we tend to write about poignant issues of our time like gun violence, untimely death, or homelessness while also trying to lift our audiences up with undertones of hope, solidarity, and love.

Fellowcraft EP’s and Albums:

Fellowcraft debut the EP, Singles in March of 2015, followed by the first record, Get Up Young Phoenix was released worldwide on New Years Day, 2016. Their third release and most recent record, aptly titled Three was released in September of 2018. Its first single, Hold the Line, won the Washington Area Music Award for Best Rock Song of 2019. Their latest single, Glimmer of Faith, produced by Tonio Ruiz, was released worldwide August 30, 2019. They hope to complete the newest record in the winter of 2020.

The Fellowcraft Live Experience:

The band played for around 45 minutes, playing 9 songs, which are Fellowcraft Originals. The band members are very energetic and enthused to be on the stage performing. With some hopping, jumping around and jammin all the time.

Cat Janice Music – As The Cat Janice Band

The Beginning of Cat Janice Music:

Cat Janice growing up in a musically focused family, has always had a strong connection to music. Starting with expressions and learning how to play violin and piano at an early age. Hailing from the Washington, DC music scene, she is surrounded by incredible musical diversity that influenced her vocal style with jazzy undertones.

Cat has never taken a vocal lesson and taught herself to sing at 16, developing a completely unique sound. Her fun and fiery style is inspired by groups like Portugal. The Man, Alice Merton, and a hint of Amy Winehouse.

Cat Janice Band Accolades & Awards:

Cat has been 3X nominated for the prestigious Washington Area Music Awards (WAMMIE) for best rock artist, best rock song, best pop song and has been featured on Country Music Television’s popular TV Show, “Redneck Island”.

The Beginning of Glamour Kitty:

Glamour Kitty represents, The Nation’s Premier Arena Rock Tribute Band. Rocking around the edges of the Decade of Decadence, with everyone’s favorite hits from Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, AC/DC, Guns N’ Roses and many more of your favorite bands.

If you are ready for a high-energy show, that showcases the best of the Arena Rock. Glamour Kitty will bring you a performance that will leave you thinking you should keep your ticket stub, even though there may not have been a cover charge!

The Glamour Kitty Live Experience:

The band takes everything to the next level, not only by shamelessly rocking out. With attire that’s outrageous enough to make a superhero jealous. Delivering a stage show that keeps the party going like the best of the Best from the Hollywood Bowl to Madison Square Garden!

The band played for over three hours, having enticed members of the audience come on stage and sing along. At one point in the show, they had 4 members come up and play air guitar and dance around. Stitch, Rex and Bones were very energetic and entice the audience to be a part of the show. The crown was eager to be a part of the show and enjoyed every minute of it. During the intermission and at the end of the show, they took the time to talk and take selfies with everyone that wanted to.

About Union Jacks Rio:

Union Jacks Rio is located in The Rio (Washingtonian Center) Gaithersburg Maryland. The Rio features a large lake, with paddle boats and a playground area with a old style carousel. There are plenty of hotels, shopping, movie theaters and restaurants. Union Jacks Rio features a complete sit down restaurant area and has a large bar, and a small satellite bar on the other side. A Few pool table and dart boards, and a small seating area outside that carries a lake front view. The area in front of the stage features bar top tables. The bar top tables are removed prior to the show, to open up the area for dancing and standing right in front of the stage. This set up features some great lighting and carries great sound.

I had the chance to photograph and video a few songs in it’s entirety from in front of the stage. For the photos we used Nikon D850 Body, with a Tamron 28-75 F2.8, and a Nikon 70-200 F2.8. For video’s we used the Sony HDR TD10, which is a 3d 1080p camcorder, shows are recorder on 2d, utilizing a Zoom H6 Pro Audio Recorder/Microphone. We utilize the Zoom H6 audio recorder to record the audio from the entire show.

Kiss The Sky – World’s Greatest Tribute To Jimi Hendrix

The Beginning of Kiss The Sky:

With the only Hendrix tribute with a full cast of spot-on look-a-like & sound-a-like performing musicians not just for Jimi, but ALL of his band members. Both the experience, the Band of Gypsy’s and throughout his entire career. The band wears the same custom made 60’s wardrobes the the real deal wore in the historic concerts. Setting the stage with replica gear and back line rigs.

Using the instruments and gear that Jimi himself made famous. Marshall Amp Walled Stacks, Ludwig Drums, Stratocaster Guitars, Vox, Wah-Wah, Univibe, Octavio, Fuzz Face and more. Faithfully reproducing 4 of the Jimi Hendrix most historic concerts.

Kiss The Sky Live Experience:

Adding to the visual authenticity of Kiss The Sky is that just like Jimi Hendrix, so to Jimy Bleu is a left-hander! One of the few in the business and as Hendrix was famous for playing with passion and power; with the guitar over his head, behind his back, between his legs and with his teeth… Jimy Bleu has all the moves and a reputation for electrifying performances!

The band played for two hours and played like they have been together for a lifetime. After the show was over they did a meet and greet in the lobby, talking and taking pictures with the crowd.

The Milton Theatre is in Milton Delaware. Located close to the Delaware shore. Milton is a small town located in Sussex Delaware, featuring some of shopping and restaurants. The Milton Theatre is a old movie theater, converted to a concert venue. The stage is around 30 by 40 ft, and appears to work for most all bands and shows. In my opinion The Milton Theatre is a great venue to see your favorite band.

The Milton Theatre Amenities:

With a capacity around 300 standing, 240 for a sitting show. Some seating features a small tables, then standard seating, just past this area there is a open area and then there is a area with high top tables and bar stool seating. You can order food and drinks from most seats via the waiter/waitress that walks around several times thru out the show. The Milton Theatre features a full service bar, serving beer, wine and mixed drinks. The food menu includes hot dogs, chips, pretzels, popcorn and more. A municipal parking lot is located next door, that is free.

The Beginning of Heavy Cream:

HEAVY CREAM, is the World’s Definitive tribute show dedicated to the Ultimate 60’s Psychedelic Rock Band… CREAM! and first super group… BLIND FAITH!

HEAVY CREAM is the only Cream tribute in the world to combine spec replicas of the famous ‘Fool’ artwork guitars of Clapton and Bruce and Ginger Baker’s legendary double Ludwig drum kit, as well as Cream’s signature stack of British Marshall Amps, plus authentic wardrobe that Cream actually used at their most memorable 60’s shows.

A  HEAVY CREAM production includes the 60’s psychedelic JOSHUA LIGHT SHOW backing some of the greatest music of all – time …. now all performed LIVE to historical detailed perfection in look and sound – making CREAM CONCERTS of yesterday come alive for audience of today!

Crowded Streets, A Dave Matthews Tribute Band

The Beginning of Crowded Streets:

Crowded Streets was formed in 2006 by lead singer, Gabe Matthews and former bassist, Mike Cole. Since its 13 year span, the band has performed up & down the east coast as well as areas into the mid-west. Going as far north as Albany, NY, as far south as Parkland, FL, and as far west as Minneapolis, MN. The band has performed well over 300 shows during its tenure and has played for crowds as large as 10,000. Tally Ho is considered our “home base” and one of our favorite venues to play.

The Live Show:

The show started around 8:30 and went until around 10:40, with a crowd of around 150 or so. With approximately 150 people in the crowd, this may the show even better. Due to the fact it made it more of a intimate setting. After the 1st song or 2 the crowd started singing along and dancing to the music. The show was very good, with a good light show, swinging lights into the crowd at times. The band members were engaging with the crowd through out the show, including speaking with crowd after the show.

About The Tally Ho Theater:

Tally Ho Theater is in Leesburg Virginia. Located around 30 miles west of Washington DC. Leesburg features plenty of shopping and restaurants. The Tally Ho Theater is a old movie theater, converted to a concert venue. The stage is around 30 by 40 ft, and appears to work for most all bands and shows. In my opinion the Tally Ho Theater is a great venue to see your favorite band.

The Tally Ho Theater Amenities:

With a capacity around 750 standing, 350 for a sitting show. Some bar stool seating, with high top tables on the floor for certain shows. There are also a few small tables near the bars, all seats fill up quickly. The balcony above the main floor that has tables and a separate bar as VIP Seating. Tally Ho Theater features 4 full service bars, serving beer, wine and mixed drinks. The food menu includes burgers, sandwiches, salads, fries and beverages. A municipal parking garage located next door, that is free any time after 7 pm and weekends.

Zoso, The Ultimate Led Zeppelin Experience

The Beginning of Zoso:

Zoso was founded in 1995, to perform a accurate rendition of Led Zeppelin. For Zoso it is much more than just being a tribute band. Zoso embodies Page, Plant, Bonham and Jones in Spirit and talent.

Each member has been selected to portray the appearance and playing style of their counterparts As one of the longest Led Zeppelin tributes, they have performed over 2400 live shows around the world including major festivals such as Boonaroo and Rib America Fest.

Live Shows:

The live shows are more about the aura and feeling, creating a unique atmosphere. Band members master the instruments, with spot on vocals, stage persona, sound with visual imagery recreating the music and magic of a Led Zeppelin concert. Zoso played around two and half hours with the encore. Never missing a beat and looked as if they have been playing together for a over 24 years.

They energized the crowd and interacted with the audience via playing at the edge of the stage and handing drumstick and picks to the fans. With a projected light show and stage lighting. Several of the band members, took time out after the show, engaging with fans throughout the venue. Even bringing a teen on stage and equipping him with a bass guitar and taking pictures with him. Several fans I spoke with prior and during the show stated that they had seen the band several times prior and would see them again.

About State Theater:

The State Theatre is in Falls Church Virginia. Located about 10 minutes outside Washington DC. Falls Church, features plenty of shopping and restaurants. The State Theatre is a restaurant and concert venue wrapped up in one. It was built in 1936, and operated as a movie theater until 1988. It reopened in 1999 as a event and music hall. The stage is around 30 by 40 ft, and works for most bands and shows. The State Theatre is a great venue to see your favorite band.

State Theater Amenities:

The State Theatre with a capacity around 850, general admission, with reserved seats available in the dining area, and on a first come, first serve on the upper balcony area. The State Theatre features 2 full service bars, serving beer, wine and mixed drinks. The food menu includes burgers, sandwiches, salads, fries and beverages. Free street parking is available around the venue along with a parking garage across the street. No Parking On First Floor, Friday 6 pm to 3 am, Saturday 7 am to 3 am, Sunday 8 am to 11 pm.

I had the chance to photograph and video a few songs in it’s entirety from the front of the stage and on the stage. For the photos we used Nikon D850 Body, with a Tamron 70-200 F 2.8, Tamron 28-75 F2.8, Sigma 120-300 F2.8 and a Nikon 200-400 F4. For video’s we used the Sony HDR TD10, which is a 3d 1080p camcorder, we use it in 2d mode for concerts.
