EagleMania – The World’s Greatest Eagles Tribute Band. That isn’t their slogan by mistake! EagleMania has dedicated themselves to faithfully reproducing the music of The Eagles. Since their inception, EagleMania has been thrilling audiences all over the country with their stunning five part harmony and their uncanny ability to emulate the unmistakable sound of The Eagles. Their show consists of the Eagles’ greatest hits, as well as some of the solo work of Don Henley, Glenn Frey, and Joe Walsh.

EagleMania has spent countless hours breaking down everything The Eagles recorded on their albums and faithfully reproducing those unforgettable songs in the most authentic way possible. The audience is given a chance to experience the music the way it was meant to be heard and it’s done live on stage night after night.

About The Members:

Frankie Reno

Frankie has taken many paths during his 35 years in the music business. Multi-talented keyboard player/vocalist, composer and producer, has taken his love of music, technical expertise as a producer/engineer and worked with some of the biggest names in the music industry on both a national and local level. Some of the names Frankie has worked with Lou Rawls, The Outlaws, Molly Hatchet, Marshal Tucker, Ace Frehley, Peter Criss, The Commissioner, Gordon Williams, The Fathers of The Philadelphia Sound, Gamble and Huff. Frankie is endorsed by Hammond Organ, Garritan Virtual Instruments, Heavyocity Virtual Instruments.

John Gaechter

John has been playing guitar all his life, playing out since he was 15. His musical heroes include Duane Allman, Eric Clapton, George Harrison, Jimi Hendrix, Joe Walsh, Jack Bruce, Roger Daltrey, Leslie West, as well countless talented local musicians, both playing and recording. John’s love of the Eagles’ music and attention to detail is readily apparent when you hear him play. Listen carefully to the guitar tracks on the song snippets posted to this website and you’ll see what we mean.

J.D. Kelly

JD got his start singing in cover bands at the age of thirteen. He studied voice with Myra Manning in the 1980s while writing, recording, and performing with the Frankie Carr Band. After the band’s signature song “Perfume and Leather” (co-written by Kelly) was selected as a regional winner in the WAPP “Rock to Riches” contest, Kelly and his bandmates regrouped as “Broken Toys”, a popular New York-based writing project and live act that garnered a production deal with Atlantic Records. Two more self-produced albums emerged from From The Fire – “Evil Men Do”, in 2014, and “OctOPus” in 2016. After playing at the “Firefest” and “Rockingham” festivals in the U.K., Kelly returned to the U.S., and, ultimately, joined “Eaglemania” in May, 2017.

Ken Darcy

Ken is a singer/songwriter/musician/poet. He studied music at Montclair State University and privately studied voice under the direction of Gian Carlo Minotti in Manhattan. He has played music on stage since the age of 11 and has been influenced greatly by the style of The Eagles, Neil Young, America and many other crossover rock acts. Ken has performed in many venues ranging from The Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. to the Bottom Line in New York City. Working with performers, producers and song writers ranging from the Chattanooga Symphony Orchestra to Cher, Don Dixon, Brendon Harkin and Rob Fusari, Jim Wann, Bland Simpson and Irwin Levine.

Jon Weiswasser

Jon Weiswasser has been playing drums for the last 27 years. He is a member of Miss Lucy and Walker Blue and formerly a member of the Gas House Gorillas.

Dennis Espantman

Dennis is a seasoned professional bass guitarist with a resume that spans many years. He had his first brush with international stardom some time ago working for the Danish superstar Kim Larsen and touring Europe as the opening act for the Rolling Stones. Returning to the US, he continued to play bass and to write music. He has played with musical luminaries such as Chuck Berry, Darlene Love, Ronnie Spector, Al Cooper, Eddie Brigati, The Jon Herington Band, Jimmy Vivino, and Paul Shaffer. Dennis is now proud and excited to bring his bass-playing talents to EagleMania.

Eaglemania On Stage Presence:

Eaglemania played around 2 and half hours or so, with a short intermission and a quick encore. All of the band members, took time out after the show, signing autographs and engaging with fans.

About Tally Ho Theater:

Tally Ho Theater is in Leesburg Virginia. Located around 30 miles west of Washington DC. Leesburg features plenty of shopping and restaurants. The Tally Ho Theater is a old movie theater, converted to a concert venue. The stage is around 30 by 40 ft, and appears to work for most all bands and shows. In my opinion the Tally Ho Theater is a great venue to see your favorite band.

Tally Ho Theater Amenities:

With a capacity around 750 standing, 350 for a sitting show. Some bar stool seating, with high top tables on the floor for certain shows. With a few small tables near the bars, all seats fill up quickly. The balcony above the main floor that has tables and a separate bar as VIP Seating. Tally Ho Theater features 4 full service bars, serving beer, wine and mixed drinks. The food menu includes burgers, sandwiches, salads, fries and beverages. You can park at the municipal parking garage located next door, it is free any time after 7 pm and weekends.

Photography Equipment Used:

I had the chance to photograph and video songs in it’s entirety from the pit area in front of the stage, with the crowd and the upstairs balcony area. For the photos we used Nikon D850 Body, with a Tamron 28-75 F2.8, Tamron 70-200 F2.8, Nikon 200-400 F4.

Video and Audio Equipment Used:

For video’s, we used the Sony A7R IV Mirror Less Body, recording at 1080p, utilizing a Zoom H6 Pro Audio Recorder / Microphone. We utilize a second Zoom H6 audio recorder to record the audio from the entire show.
